Breakthrough Listen begins groundbreaking survey to look for signs of alien life in the Milky Way

Using the Parkes Radio Telescope, Breakthrough Listen will scour millions of stars in the Milky Way over a total of 1,500 hours this year, looking for mysterious signals known as fast radio bursts.
