The Restoration Movement Of Nigeria (RMN) has called on the soon-to-be-unveiled aspirant, New Face of Hope, to join the few candidates gunning for the presidency ahead of 2019 election.
The group's convener, Aliyu Yakubu Hassan, who made this known in a press statement sent to NAIJ.com on Tuesday, February 27, appealed that the aspirant should not further delay in declaring his presidential interest to Nigerians.
He further stated that the candidate under the umbrella of the PDP should be revealed ?since the mission of the aspirant is to lead a movement for the recovery of our country from the plethora of jaundices, tyranny, division, recession, destruction of our institutions and old ways that have taken us backwards the past 3 years.?
Aliyu also maintained that the NEW FACE OF HOPE is a Nigerian that is prepared and competent to re-position the nation in unity, productivity, self-sufficiency and improve the lives of the citizenry, opined that his candidacy would restore hope, dignity and good governance.

NAIJ.com gathered that the New Face of Hope is a candidate of the PDP and would soon reveal his identity as soon as his ongoing nationwide consultation is concluded.
Meanwhile, the New Face of Hope political movement recently released six economic policies which it says will be the guiding principles of its candidate as the 2019 general elections draw nearer.
In a statement sent to NAIJ.com by its director of media and publicity, Imade Ize-Iyamu, on Tuesday, February 13, the group said its candidate will salvage the economy of the nation and put the country right back on track.
The policies are:
1. Economic development
2. Educational rejuvenation
3. Industrialisation
4. Infrastructural development
5. Women and youths empowerment
6. Socio-cultural development amongst others.

Meanwhile, the Niger state chapter of the PDP has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of ?recycling defectors to deceive members of the public.?
?The APC keeps presenting the same set of people at its rallies; last Saturday, they presented the same people they presented in 2015 and claimed that they were fresh defectors,? the party said.
